Deodorization — Glossary
Treating a surface or space to reduce the odor it releases — the step after cleaning, not a substitute for it.
Deodorizing addresses the odor a surface releases rather than the soil it holds. It’s the step after cleaning — remove the residue first, then treat whatever smell remains.
Done alone, deodorizing leaves the source in place. Done after cleaning, it finishes the job.
