Odor Neutralization — Glossary
Acting on odor compounds — binding, breaking down, or converting them — rather than covering them with fragrance.
Neutralization reduces an odor at the source. Instead of adding a scent on top (masking), it acts on the odor compounds themselves — binding them, breaking them down, or converting them into less odorous forms.
The result lasts longer because fewer odor compounds remain to reach your nose.
