Zeolite — Glossary
A porous mineral that traps molecules by size — used in litter additives and odor absorbers, good on ammonia.
Zeolite is a crystalline mineral with a cage-like pore structure — a molecular sieve that traps compounds fitting its pores. It adsorbs moisture, VOCs, and particularly ammonia.
It appears in litter additives and odor pouches for that ammonia affinity — a passive absorber that works until its pores fill.
