Pet Accident — Glossary
A urine, feces, or vomit deposit — a localized, high-intensity odor source that needs prompt treatment.
An accident is a localized deposit — urine, feces, or vomit — in one spot. It’s the highest-intensity odor source because it’s concentrated, and it’s time-sensitive: fresh accidents are far easier to treat than old, set residue.
Blot it promptly, treat it with an enzymatic product, let it dry fully. Old accidents need repeat treatment and sometimes a penetrating approach.
