The deposit urine leaves in a surface — uric-acid crystals and compounds that reactivate with moisture.
When urine dries, it doesn’t disappear — it leaves a residue of uric-acid crystals and organic compounds in the surface. That residue keeps releasing odor, and it reactivates when moisture arrives.
This is why a spot can seem clean and still smell. Treating the residue — not just drying the surface — is what removes it.
