Dwell Time — Glossary
How long a treatment stays wet on the deposit — the contact time enzymes need to finish the job.
Dwell time is the waiting period between applying a treatment and removing it — the window where the chemistry works. For enzymatic products it is the processing time: the enzymes need contact to reach and cleave every substrate molecule.
Wiping early is the most common failure — the enzymes were removed mid-job. Saturate, keep moist, wait the stated time.
