Surface — Glossary
Any material a pet contacts — where odor residue actually lives, rather than in the air.
Pet odor lives on surfaces, not in the air. The air is where you smell it; the surfaces — carpet, upholstery, bedding, hard floors — are where the residue producing it sits.
This is the single most important idea in pet odor management: treat the surface holding the residue, not just the air.
