Pet Bed — Glossary
The pet’s main resting spot — the biggest single odor reservoir in most homes.
The pet bed accumulates odor fastest because the pet is there the most — hours of contact depositing oils, moisture, dander, and shed fur every day. The pad beneath the cover holds the deepest residue.
Wash the cover weekly, treat or wash the pad, and dry everything fully. A bed with a removable, washable cover is the easiest to keep fresh.
