Droplet Size — Glossary
The diameter of mist particles — the spec determining how far treatment drifts and what it penetrates.
Droplet size controls mist behavior: smaller droplets settle slower, drift further on air currents, and fit through smaller gaps. Larger droplets fall fast and cover less.
It is the difference between a mist that treats a room and a spray that wets a spot — the size is the coverage specification.
