Fact-Checking Policy
Every substantive claim is verified against its stated source before publication.
What we check
- Is the claim factual?
- Is the source credible?
- Does the source actually support this claim?
- Is this PawFresh-specific or general science?
- Is the wording stronger than the evidence?
- Is there a conflict of interest?
Source validation
Product-specific claims are checked against product documentation. Scientific claims are checked against credible literature. Survey and review data are labelled as self-reported experience, not controlled testing.
When a claim can't be verified
If a factual claim cannot be substantiated, we mark it for verification, omit it, or phrase it conservatively. We do not fabricate studies, endorsements, or certifications.
